work experience

2010
GPS Drawing workshop, Fox Glacier Primary School, Westland, New Zealand. I developed a teaching plan in consultation with the class’ regular teacher for a multi–session drawing workshop. Over three days, I introduced 12 students aged eight to 12 to the technological and practical basis for using GPS devices as a drawing tool. Precedents from historical and contemporary art practices supported this. A final practical session allowed students to create their own GPS drawings.

In 2006, the programme leader and I co-initiated a lunchtime lecture series featuring guest speakers from outside the school. For this series I was responsible for organizing speakers and the design and printing of promotional posters.
